RE: SteelForce Broadheads?
Had good luck with both Muzzy's and Steel Force. I used 100 gn. Muzzy's last year with a 62# compound. Arrow went clean through and stuck in the ground (same thing for my son this year with a 62# compound at 20 yds.--blood was spraying from the deer's side). This year I went to Steel Force 125 gn. with a 55# recurve that pushes an arrow around 178 FPS. The arrow went through the deer at 28 yds.. I watched him turn around and run. I could see blood just soaking his side (exit wound side). Went down very fast. I'm sold on the Steel Force heads for slower recurves and Muzzy's for my compounds. I think the cut on contact blades, like Steel Force, are the best for slower bows but............shot placement is everything!
