Default RE: Remington 721

My Remington 721 is in .300 H&H....(very close to the old .30-06) and it's a very special gun to me. The stocks on the 721 are designed solely for use with iron sights....when you attach a scope you almost have to raise your head off the stock just to see thru the scope. They almost must be restocked to use a scope.

Mine shoots 125 Grain Ballistic tips and 200 grain Swift A-Frames into unbelievably tiny little groups.

Incredibly strong....superbly accurate....reliable....mine got the nod to be my main weapon on my African plains game safari this last July.....over several very fine Winchester M-70s and I'm a M-70 fan....I'll try to post a photo of the restocked 721.
