I scout 24/7 every day of the yr I can.
Tonight 5/3/26 i found 2 pods of 3 mature Toms basically with no hens. I can hunt that spot. Peared in the next field over i saw eell over 20 jakes with a few hens.
..
Then on my way out a third field a Tom with 4 hens. Man i was on a roll. Traveled further fown the rd and 2 more strutters with 4 to 5 hens. New field I've watched for yrs. Might try an evening setup there.
I have a 30 mile loop Irun.. I found another single tom going to roost and then a real nice tom in strut in the field all by himself. Didnt see the hen but she had to be close with him strutting like that.. All in all i saw 3,3 2,1 and 1 tonight.
My 1st season opens Wed.

DTC and I have been testing or an occadionsl phone cal. The 2026 DTC & JW Excellent Wisconsin Adventure is in 3.5 weeks.

But in the meantime my 1st Wisc season starts May 6. I let others shoot the dumb ones....lol
