I actually went with the save 110 trail hunter Lite in .308.... it has a muzzle brake on it and I'm really happy with it. Only have about a box of ammo through it so far but im really liking it and its not killing my shoulder or neck.
This is last year's topic but I think you made a great choice. It'll work for deer pronghorn and even a black bear if you encounter one. Let us know how you do with it.
