It isn't all about the numbers, i know. But my brain works in numbers and I've always kept track of things, including the small details.

I knew my next deer would be #50 for me and I wanted it to be something different and not just another doe on the list. So I decided to spend some time hunting with the revolver this year.

This little button buck stepped out at 67 yards and that was too far. I watched as he fed his way closer and picked out a few likely spots with the range finder. When he hit 43 yards I let him have it.

totally destroyed the heart.



I've carried the revolver occasionally and never had the opportunity to use it. So I was happy to tag this one as #50.
