Currently training my GSP. She is 4 months old and I've had her for 2 months. She's made some awesome progress.

After only 2 months, she :

Comes to "here" or 2 blasts on the whistle
"sit"s
Understands"OK" when I release her from a command
Will hold "sit" until I command "here"

We are currently working on "Heel" and "Whoa"

I've put her on about 9 birds so far and she has pointed well. last week, she pointed a hidden quail from 20 ft away and it was only her 6th bird.

I figure if I keep up the training, she'll be ready to hunt by next fall if not sooner!
