Fair warning though. Air guns can be addictive and, like any other shooting hobby, get pretty expensive.

It’s not a one-size-fits-all decision, and the more details you can share about your intended use, the better the recommendations will be. And yes, once you get into airguns, it’s easy to go down the rabbit hole!
