Anyone interested in this new load? It was developed in conjunction with the US military. I see Savage already has their model 110 Timberline listed in this caliber. That has my attention since it's available in left hand. This new cartridge is very similar in size to the .280 Rem. It uses a proprietary alloy steel case as well as a Federal proprietary powder that allow it to achieve 80,000 PSI of pressure. Federal plans to offer loads ranging from 155 to 195 grain bullet weights. It has been field tested to shoot a 170 grain bullet at 3030 ft/sec out of a 20" barrel with a suppressor. Sounds like an awesome all-around load and it could be the future of rifle ammo.
