Hopefully this is the right place to post this.... As seen below, I found a really cool, replica of the military M3 "Tanker" shoulder holster on Amazon. I used a leftover Amazon gift card from Christmas and ordered it. Now, now, now, it's real leather, and not that fake imitation synthetic nonsense. It's stiff as a board though and needs to be broken in with saddle soap, like a new baseball glove we got when we were kids.

This fits my 1911-A1 .45ACP perfectly and hangs on my left shoulder like a very thin guitar strap. It places the main holster directly over my left side gut, with the butt end of the 1911 over my sternum. In a way, it makes me feel like I'm an Army Lieutenant Colonel! Very historical and yet, very cool!
