If by cost parity you mean anywhere from 60 cents to 1.80 per round difference in quality hunting factory ammo then okay. Even ammo depot has that difference. Maybe you know a place where one could get it at around the same price but I didn't see your "price parity" when I looked on 5 different and very popular ammo sites. But in all honesty, that is just one small part to my query NoMercy. Again, I fully understand the love fest from long range paper punchers and the very few who consistently fire on live game at over 400 yards but other than that, I just don't see the attraction to garner this cult like following.
