What concerns me more is the fact that a lot of people seem to think that the second amendment is about your rifles for "hunting". The second amendment isn't about your right to hunt. It is about your right to defend yourself against both foreign AND DOMESTIC villainy. That is inclusive of out of control government which is why the government is working so hard to take that 2nd amendment right away from you. The first and second amendments are our defense against a tyrannical government. 1rst is for speaking out against such tyranny to gain support and the second is to defend the first.

My belief is that the second amendment is absolutely clear and that the government has absolutely NO legal right to interfere in ownership or carry of ANY weapon that military personnel can carry into battle. The second amendment was designed for us to be able to defend ourselves against both foreign and domestic militaries. Fighting with what we are currently allowed to own without going through tons of paperwork and intrusive investigations and money is pretty much like taking a knife to a gunfight.
