RE: 777 fouling?
I use a spit patch after the 2nd shot at the range, but I have to be EXTREMELY careful not to push past the crud rind immediately. If I do, it takes a ton of pulling and the use of a pair of pliers to remove my ramrod and cleaning jag. I love 777's performance, but that crud ring gives me fits unless I use a decent amount of water to break it down first. I'd hopefully never need to fire more than once in the field, but you never know when hunting elk.
