My answer to this is simple. If it is legal to use where you hunt and you want to use an x bow more power to you.

Here in ohio it is legal to use them, i choose to use a compound rather than an x bow for many reasons I am not going to get into. Now my thoughts on them in comparison to a compound. They are defenitly easier to use and harvest a deer with than a compound. Especially when you start talking about having 4x scopes on them, they are already drawn back and you don't need to stand when you shoot them. You only need very minimal movement to use them. So yes they are no doubt easier to use.

I know quite a few people who use them. They are mostly the kind of guys who wait untill the day before archery to even shoot them and then blame their broadheads on why they didn't recover the deer they shot. I am not talking about x bowers as a whole but the ones i know.
