They're pretty nifty but they're not cheap! And speed loader is really an oxymoron! I've had 2 instances in my almost 50 years of hunting black powder where I ALMOST got a 2nd shot at a deer. In both instances after I shot and missed (not hard to do in frigid weather with a flintlock) the deer took a few bounds, stopped and looked back at me, watched me get a "speed loader" pour the powder down the bore, seat the bullet and kept watching until I primed the pan and as soon as I shut the frizzen it took off like a scalded dog!
