I've always read good things about the 28 but never found one in a model I liked at a price I liked.
Many years ago Sears sold Ted Williams O/U. Those shotguns were actually Winchester 101s made in Japan. They may have made them in 28 gauge. Might be a Heckuva a lot cheaper than the Winchester IF you can find one. The 20 gauge i used for doves was really nice. Loved that gun.
