I have a sako 375 H&H carbine that originally had a two piece stock, that looks almost identical to this picture'
this has been a very good carbine, highly accurate, consistent and lethal, but the stocks not ideal,
ID prefer to have a one piece laminated stock made!

I glass bedded the stock and found I could permanently join the front of the stock to the rest,
but ID really prefer to have a new one piece stock custom made by duplicating the existing stock,
with a piece of laminated wood.
the 375 H&H , in a fairly heavy but short and handy carbine,
when properly loaded, has proven to be close to ideal for hunting the thick timber I frequently hunt

obviously I could buy a stock duplication machine and laminated blank,
but that would rather easily cost me close to $3k
Id much rather ship a blank and my existing stock to some skilled gunsmith and have it cloned, if the price was semi reasonable?
any ideas?
what kind of money , am I looking at here?
and what's the likely time frame etc???
I don't want to risk damaging the original stock, (even if it is glass bedded)
or put differently.. who can I trust with the project , and who is likely to not mess up the existing original stock?
and who can I trust to produce a near clone of the existing stock in laminated wood ?
