More poor reporting, already in the first paragraph:
The 223rem is legal for deer hunting in “most states,” as of last season it was legal in 39 of the 46 states which allow rifle hunting of deer. So 4 states don’t allow rifles at all, and further 7 more don’t allow 223, which is only a sum of 11 states… while LITERALLY three and a half times MORE states allow 223 Rem for deer hunting.
