many of us started out with a 22LR rifle,
and with 22LR rifles
the ammo you use has a big effect on accuracy
CCi and federal, and winchester standard velocity 40 grain,
usually produce good accuracy, many other common sources of ammo,
have proven to be far less consistently accurate, in rifles I've owned
I know the ruger 10/22, the marlin model 60, the S&W M&P15/22 lr
the taurus model 62,or a browning, T-bolt, or a browning SA22
are commonly owned and all have people that love them,
but the rifle I found to be the most consistently accurate is my
marlin 39A
