NoMercy the OP likes copying and pasting article after article without doing all the research. I don't believe there is actually much shooting involved as he is just relaying info someone else wrote.
While I don't own a 300 blackout I know 30 caliber bullets. There is a vast amount of them in different styles. Like you said, in this chambering for deer I believe the range can be extended beyond 175 yards. I opt for a 130 gr Barnes TTSX if I were to hunt deer with one.
I do own two 350 Legends. One is on an AR platform and the other is a bolt action. Both are good shooters but as of yet I haven't shot anything but paper with them. Recoil is negligible.
