Yikes all these make me feel better 95% of my hunting is via archery. I do hunt virtually exclusively public land but am very careful and wear headlamp if light is even just dim.

Did try to go archery turkey hunting where I roosted a flock on one public parcel Saturday morning. Figured the muzzleloader deer hunters would be done after 30+ days of guns and 30 crossgun days, but I was wrong! There were no less than five pumpkins in the lot when I arrived. Two didn’t even bother to sign in. I promptly turned around and went for breakfast instead. Will wait until tomorrow when the overlapped season ends.

Indiana is a joke with all these gun days. No wonder they didn’t even make the B&C top ten this year. Quality takes a pounding on public land. Thank hod I got an Illinois LL.
