Unless the new Trashco scopes have been improved they aren't much.That is a good price on the Savage 17. See if they will allow you something for the Trashco towards a better scope. I hate to see someone ruin a nice gun by putting a cheap scope on it.Between Tasco, Simmons and BSA it's a toss up.Better then nothing but not much.
