RE: Do you ever get lazy?
I'll admit it I get lazy. The thing with me is that I hunt every available hour of daylight during bowseason which was october 15th - November 17th this year. I put so much work in mentally and physically during this time. Then gun season hits and that runs from november18th - december 9th. I hunt hard the first week of gun. After that I am spent and the deer are gone. I get a little lazy yes. Start getting later into the woods on afternoon hunts and strangely light when walking to the stand in the AM.
I think the lack of deer sightings adds fuel to the laziness fire. And the difference between the way things are during bowseason and how it changes the first hour of gun is almost depressing. But I'll stick it through to the end even though it's an excersisse of futility these last few days.
