Default West side Blue marlin

Yesterday, I went out with 2 guys to try for some wahoo (called ono here) and maybe some big Yellowfin tunas (ahi) that were in town. We never found the ahi, but we did get a decent Blue marlin SE of a spot known as Dogmouth. I've had good ahi action out there before. Anyways, this fish hit a marlin lure we ran on the long corner, She took out a ton of line on the first run, like over half the spool. Luckily she stayed at the surface while I got most of tha line back, crank by crank. She gave us a lot of jumps, but we couldn't film the fight because of the splashes while we backed down hard during the first half of the fight. Once we leadered the fish, the .357 bang stick ended the fight. She went an estimated 350-400#. It took 45mins to bring the fish in.
