That makes sense. Homeschooling kids is like a full time job. But worth all of the effort. That sucks not to have good turkey hunting locally. We really are blessed in California. There are turkeys everywhere. We have a 3 tom limit in Spring and 2 of either sex in the Fall. Spring turkey season is awesome. Fall is more of a challenge but still fun. The wife and I are considering retiring out of California in a few years. So far, turkey hunting is high on the requirements list. I don't know if I could live in a state with poor turkey hunting.
