Yes, you can shoot 00 buck with lead shot chokes don't use full choke it blows the pattern most time.
Your better off with 4 buck or better yet lead f, you get way more pellets in a shell.
Lead bb is also a very good coyote load.
Never use steel if you can help it. It is by far the worst coyote load you can try.
