Brain storm
I just had a brain storm or maybe a brain fart! But I kust got s notion that it might be a good idea to either buy a .45 cal barrel for my 700ml or have Bobby Hoyt reline my 50 with a 45 barrel. I see McGovern can make a SS barrel for about $200 +.
Twist rate choices are 1:16 and 1:24. With Hoyt I can get sny twist.
You guys that know the 700 ml, is the barrel threaded into the teceiver like a CF rifle with the breech/breech breecin the "receiver"? I don't have mine here to look at. If that's the case then it would just be a matter of unscrewing the old and screwing in the new because there is no headspace to deal with. Right?
