Wow that really does suck. I've never seen a Browning with so many problems. The only issue I ever had with mine was bedding but that was solved easily with some Devcon.
When did you get it back? Any way it was damaged when you got it or in transit?
Not having it in my hand but it looks like the forearm didn't have enough relief from the barrel. Probably happened when you shot it off the bags and it came back down after the recoil. If there was sufficient clearance between the barrel and forearm it would not have happened. My thoughts anyway.

Jake if Browning doesn't care of it let me know. I have a shop here that has tons of rifle parts and he may just have a BLR forearm.
