Turkey hunting help needed near Denver
Hello,
Im hunting turkeys for the first time and have been hunting 4 times once in Estes, once in Roosevelt nat forest, Pike Nat forest, and Arapahoe Nat forest. Iv tried multiple spots in each one using google earth to locate spots that i think look good, meadows with some trees near water. Still no luck bagging a turkey haven’t even seen any or heard any. Is anyone else having trouble maybe from all the smoke from the fires? And does anyone have a specific area within a 1.5 hour drive of Denver on public land that they recommend?
