Ive always been told to use what the deer like, thats in the area. If corn is the preffered crop in the area, then pile up some corn. If sugar beets are the fave, then sugar beets. Deer to me are alot like three year olds. They dont like new food, they will only eat what they are used to eating. Its hard to get a deer to eat apples if they dont know what an apple is. JMO
