I can’t speak for where you are hunting. Here however the birds are always on the move. I have watched 4 toms and a Jake one day and not see a single bird for 3 to 4 days. I know where they roost on the other side of a river. But where they go from there is anyone’s guess. But they are there and will come threw whenever they feel like it.
