Wow, that sucks. Ask your FFL if they noted damage on receit. That's where you start. 99% sure that they DID NOT.
I deliver fragile goods daily, and almost NEVER does anyone check the whole package. Ask UPS if they can check that for you. They may not, but its a good place to start. That puts the damage squarely in their court.
