It looks like a real joy to carry in the woods...but I betcha it's a real thumper; even though it has a squishy looking recoil pad on it.
Many years ago...my brother had a BLR in 308 --- He finally got rid of it, because he experienced too many jams.
I have a peep sighted pre-64 - Winchester 94 - in 30-30.
