That's the first deer taken with 327 Federal that I'm aware of and it seemed to have done a good job on that deer. I didn't even know T&C even made that caliber barrel.
Many years ago I went through the T&C stage where it was the only gun I used for hunting for 3 years. Mostly used 44 magnum barrel in the beginning to take several deer and hogs and .223 for some coyotes but discovered how effective the 357 magnum was later. Using my handload of 180gr cast WFN-GC moving at just below 1,500 fps it was effective on coyote, deer and hogs out to 150 yards. I may have to dig out that T&C out of the safe again.
