Lewis I use a Pedersoli sight and inserts. The crosshair insert is so fine that it is impossible to use it for hunting unless you were in open country in bright sunlight. For hunting I normally use just the single post. I like using a circle when shooting at a round bull also. You can center the bull inside the circle more readily.
