I found out that Blackbear season in Ontario also extends to Bruce Peninsula which is convenient as it's MUCH easier to drive 4 hours instead of 7+.

Long story short, I put out 4 baits spread across the West peninsula on the Northern half. It looks to be a marshy area with mostly evergreen/juniper mixed with some hardwood.
But I'm a but confused, I was told that bears were closer to the north but the only bear signs I found were in the middle of the peninsula and the only bear I ever saw was in Lion's head?

Any tips on Bruce Peninsula bear hunting??
