Well a bit of a nightmare with the Impact. When I got home from FL and looked at the rifle the exterior was really nice. However the bore was horrible, I thought beyond repair. I had a hard time even getting a .45 cal brush through the bore! Then after a lot of scrubbing and cussing I was able to get to a point where I could see the rifling. On the following weekend I soaked a bunch of patches in Frontier's Shoot Out and grabbed a box of .490 balls. I shot the patched balls using 30 gr of Goex FFFg without any swabbing. Probably about 30 - 35 shots. When I got home I gave the rifle a thorough cleaning and to my surprise the bore is really nice.
