Siamese Mauser .45-70 Government

This rifle is a conversion of a Siamese Mauser 98 in 8x52mm to .45-70. They used a 24” E.R. Shaw heavy barrel for the conversion. The rifle has a Lyman ramp front sight and is drilled and tapped for a receiver sight and a fold down open sight on the barrel. The 1898 Mauser action was made at the Koishikawa Arsenal in Tokyo, Japan. The action is smooth and feeds well. This action is as strong as any 1898 Mauser and the .45-70 can be loaded to near .458 Winchester power. It has a Timney trigger. The stock is a VG condition Fajen sporter with factory checkering. The rifle weighs 11 pounds and has a length of pull of 13-3/4”.There is a vintage Weaver 2.5x telescope with Duplex crosshairs and Weaver style top mounts. The rifle will need a low scope safety installed. $550.00



VINTAGE RELOADING TOOLS FOR SALE

Hensley and Gibbs .45 185 gr No 130 4 cavity mold. Is near mint condition and has the original shipping box. The best mold ever made in the USA. They have not been made since 1979. $150.00

Lyman #55 powder measure. This one is probably Pre-WW2. I have been using one like this for 60 years. Measures IMR 4895 very well. $50.00



Winchester Lightweight Model 101 Pigeon Grade 12 ga 3” magnum. With factory length stock (14-1/4”), Winchester hard carrying case and 4 extra choke tubes. This shotgun was made in 1980 and has hand engraving on the action. This gun has never been fired. There are 2 small handling marks on the wood but they could easily be corrected. The barrels are 27”. $2400.00



Winchester Super-X 1 12 gauge 2-3/4” chambers, 28” Modified barrel. This gun was made in 1980, it has never been fired, the metal is 99+%, the stocks are also near perfect. The length of pull is 14-1/4”. $800.00



Winchester Model 12 – 12 Ga Super Speed & Super-X 3” Magnum, manufactured in 1958, 30” Full choke Plain Barrel, bore is excellent, Bluing has some defects from hunting use, the wood has a few handling marks as well. It is in NRA Very Good Condition. The action is tight and crisp. $650.00 C&R



Ruger Model 77 rifle, .270 Winchester, 22” bbl, length of pull 13-3/4”, manufactured in 1980, has the tang safety, metal is excellent, bore is excellent, wood is very good plus with a few handling marks from hunting. It has the Ruger telescope rings. $600.00

One is a small chip near the magazine well on the right side of the rifle (3/8X1/4”). It has the Ruger telescope rings. $750.00



FS Remington 1903-A3 .30-‘06

Receiver was made in 1942 and the barrel is marked RA 7-44. The barrel is excellent and the Parkerizing is 97%. The “C” stock is excellent with no cracks grooves or gouges. I was with the man who wants to sell it when his stamped lower band stripped out when in the tight prone position. He replaced the lower band, upper band, swivels, trigger guard and buttplate to the milled 1903 variety. The front sight is a 1903 Full Block type with a Marine style post. This rifle would make an excellent shooter for CMP Military Rifle Matches. Accuracy level under 2” with .30 M2 Ball ammo. $900.00 C&R



Winchester Model 94/22 XTR Magnum, Unfired, an early model XTR with no checkering, metal is as new, there may be a few very light handling marks on the wood and sling swivel studs added. The rifle was manufactured in 1978. $900.00



Colt Ar-15 .223 Sporter HBAR Match Target, it is post ban as it has no bayonet lug. This rifle has a 20” heavy barrel with 1 in 7” twist, especially for 62 gr bullets and heavier. They rifle has never been fired. It has no box or papers. Bore is like new as are the stocks and external metal. Four extra 20 shot magazines included. $1100.00



Springfield Armory M1-A 7.62x51mm National Match Rifle, glass bedded, has Springfield standard weight NM barrel, great trigger job, NM rear sight, comes with 2- 20 shot USGI magazines, very early serial number and made with USGI stock. $1100.00



Remington 40X .308 Winchester National Match Course rifle, it has an excellent Remington Stainless steel barrel that is 7/8” at the muzzle and 1-3/16” at the breech, he date codes indicate it was made in 1979. It has a clip slot in the receiver bridge, the barrel and receiver are drilled and tapped for telescope bases, There is a set of Redfield Olympic front and rear sights, the rifle has an excellent trigger with no after travel. The wood has no cracks or deep gouges but there are handling marks on it. There is a full length rail for a hand stop from the trigger guard to the end of the forearm and the rifle has a 5 shot magazine. The exterior metal is excellent. The rifle could also be used for International Big Bore Standard Rifle competition. The rifle weighs 11.5 pounds and the LOP is 13.25”. $1500.00



Browning Model 53 deluxe in .32-20 WCF, it is a reproduction of the Winchester Model 63, the previous owner replaced the button magazine with a 10 shot magazine to be able to use the rifle in SASS shooting. The barrel 22” long and is in excellent condition, the wood is near excellent as is the bluing, the rear sight is a Marble’s Tang Sight that is adjustable for windage and elevation, the front sight is a Lyman 17 globe sight. The rifle has fancy Walnut stocks. $1000.00



Winchester Model 75 .22 RF Target Rifle, has a medium heavy 28” barrel, 13-1/4 LOP and the original Winchester target sights. The bore is excellent, bluing on the barrel and receiver is 95%, the trigger guard is turning slightly brown. The rifle was made in 1940 and is in the 8000 serial number range. $650.00 CRFFL OK



Stoeger Uplander 12 Ga 3” chamber, 26” IC-MOD Barrel with choke tubes, in Vg overall condition with some scrapes and dents from hunting, bores excellent LOP 14-3/8”, has a single non-selective trigger and the safety is not automatic. $375.00
