Are you going to use a customs broker to clear the shipment through customs into the USA or are you going to do it yourself? Every time I have had an air or sea shipment of anything from outside the USA I have used a customs broker. Driving across the Canada/USA border is not too bad. Nothing is inexpensive anymore.
