looks like mold to me, and I would NOT eat any of it, as mold can be where there is NO showing of it!(green)
I would make sure I cleaned out that smoker VERY VERY well too
spray it down with something that kills bacteria and mold!
(human safe, Vodka works!)
Bleach too, but will smell for a while!
and the fact its on this meat, says that the mold might have come from your smoker, so, heads up on other things you may have made in it and froze or??
