Yes he gets a limited number of caribou tags per year. Woodland caribou hunts are pricey these days compared to the early 2000s when Champlain Islander and I use to go. Back then it was a $2,200 hunt. Now it’s a $7,500 hunt. The moose hunt I went on was $4,400 which included the $500 tag and all taxes, meals, and infield transportation.
