My rifle is left loaded if it hasn't been fired. If it has been fired, and reloaded, i shoot it the same day, before i leave the sticks; clean it at home, and reload it for the next day, or days. Have never had a problem leaving a clean rifle loaded for weeks, but once the powder is burned, it has rusted the barrel, if not cleaned.
