I was leaning towards a Ruger Super Redhawk in .44 mag but am open to other manufacturers & calibers. How are the .454 Casull & the .480 Ruger calibers? What would you recommend for a close range (inside 50 yards or so) black bear / deer revolver? I will be putting a scope on it. Also what length barrel should I be looking at?
