OT,

That why I initially began buying Marlins .I wanted a scope on everything. And the Marlin was the best option for that.

Eventually I began having fun using open sights and now only my .45-70 has a scope on it. The .30-30s and .44 are all irons only now . Hopefully I have a few years of iron shooting left in my eyes
