I will say my older model .300 savage is a better looking rifle with the Schnabel foreend and such. This was sold as a "brush gun" I believe and the wood isn't quite as nice.
But that's what they came in for the .375win, so that's what I had to go with.
I'm looking forward to working up a load and seeing how good it will actually shoot.
I was pretty pleased with the group it shot just leaning off the porch at 100 yards. So I think it's a pretty good shooter. And recoil was milder than I was expecting. My wife will be able to shoot this one without issue. Whereas the .45-70 had a little too much punch for her to handle comfortably.
