I am not normally nosy but I can't seem to refrain from being so on this particular occasion and feel free to tell me to unstick my nose from your business. But would you mind greatly telling me what price you landed on for that particular gem? I am sure you figured out through your searches the rarity of that particular cartridge in a Savage 99. Especially in such good shape. That is rare shape for 99's as most people bought them to hunt hard cover and they usually got pretty beat up. I don't have the same fondness for lever guns my dad did but I do still have a pretty soft spot for 99's.
