Just got back from vacation w/ the family in Florida over the weekend. My season starts 1 week from today.....ugh... always so late up here.
I have been having 1huge tom in the yard, along with 2 nice ones that look like their beards may have been damaged with the ice / snow from this brutal winter. Full fans. 3/4" spurs, but prob only 5 or 6" beards. There are also 2 jakes. Any of the toms get it opening am.... the big one is only around once and a while.
Scouted some other spots where I know there are birds from past hunts and this past deer season as well. Can't wait. Keep it up everyone.
