.25 is awfully close to 7mm, may as well spread them out a bit. Since you are talking varmits and the like, how about a 223, 22-250, 243 or so rifle. That way the varmit rifle can do what it does best and the 7mmRemMag can do what it does best. No sense in accumulating a rack of rifles with no spread and everything roughly equivalent.
