Yes you can use your 2 1/2 inch shells in a 3 inch chambered gun. As long as your chamber is as long as or longer than your shells you are fine.

Like the others, I have seen 3 inch slugs for the 410 but don' t remember who made them.

I wouldn' t use them for deer. Step up to a 20ga if you want to use it for deer.
