What do you want to do with each rifle?

Personally, I do a lot more coyote hunting than I do elk hunting, and since you're in NE, I assume that's not so different for you. I also favor good glass and not knowing but assuming the Scheels branded scope isn't as good quality as the Leupolds, I'd stick the VX-III on the 22-250, the VX-II on the 270, and the Scheels 4-12x on the 300wm. That would leave me with my best scope on the coyote rifle, a good scope on the deer rifle, and a decent scope on the 300wm. It also puts the highest magnification on the rifle with the greatest range potential.
