Shot on Thanksgiving morning at 55 yards. open sights, Buck Country Arms .50 cal inline. Double lunged, dropped on the spot. I can honestly say that all of my gun hunting will now be done with the muzzleloader. [:-]


I was sitting on a bench between 2 saddles on a ridge. At 7:25, I hear rustling in the leaves but didnt pay much attention. at 7:28, I give out a doe bleat. This deer spooks, and runs to about 55 yards away. I take the shot, and when the smoke clears, I see the deer on the ground.
